S. Scott Haynes

Mr. Haynes is a shareholder at Haynes Kessler Myers & Postalakis in Worthington, Ohio. He is an Ohio State Bar Association Board Certified Family Law Specialist and a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is also an American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Certified Mediator. He has been listed in Ohio Super Lawyers for Family Law since 2011 and has an AV Preeminent Peer Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Haynes sits on the Advisory Board of and is a frequent contributor to The Domestic Relations Journal of Ohio. His published articles include “The Ohio Collaborative Family Law Act” (Domestic Relations Journal of Ohio, May/June 2012), “Hunting for Cohabitation in the Spousal Support Jungle” (Domestic Relations Journal of Ohio, March/April 2014) and “Student Loan Debt: 3 Schools of Thought on Who Gets the Bill” (Domestic Relations Journal of Ohio, September/October 2016). Mr. Haynes regularly teaches and lectures lawyers and Judges on collaborative law, alternative dispute resolution and professionalism. He has extensive experience as a trial litigator and negotiator as well as in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and collaborative divorce.
